Abstract: (1 Views)
The Iranian healthcare system faces deep structural challenges in governance, financing, human resources, infrastructure, and epidemiology. Regenerative medicine, as a transformative field offering fundamental solutions for chronic and hard-to-treat diseases, holds the potential to serve as a strategic approach to address these challenges. This article adopts a comparative approach, first analyzing the structural challenges of Iran’s healthcare system and then examining the strategic potential of regenerative medicine as a key solution. Subsequently, the commercialization challenges of this field are compared between Iran and global contexts, and potential strategies for its development in Iran are proposed.
